Sophia Ceriello is a Fellow at The Cohen Group, where she is a member of the firm's China practice.
 
Prior to joining The Cohen Group in July 2026, Sophia earned a master’s degree in Asian Studies from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service, concentrating in international political economy with a focus on China and Southeast Asia. She also holds a bachelor's degree from Georgetown, where she studied political economy, Asian studies, and French.

Sophia previously interned at the US-China Business Council, the Office of the US Trade Representative, and the International Trade Administration at the US Department of Commerce, focusing on US-China trade and commercial policy.

Sophia was born and raised in New York and is proficient in Mandarin Chinese and French.
