Khaled Maalouf

Mr. Khaled Maalouf is a Fellow at The Cohen Group and a member of the firm’s Middle East practice. He supports clients across the defense, healthcare, legal, and aerospace sectors.
Prior to joining The Cohen Group, Mr. Maalouf interned at the US Department of State’s Syria Regional Platform, where he researched political and economic developments in Syria using Arabic-language sources. He also interned with the Council on Foreign Relations’ Center for Preventive Action, contributing research on conflicts in the Middle East and Chinese activity in the Indo-Pacific. His previous experience also includes positions at the Hudson Institute, International Republican Institute, Wilson Center, American Enterprise Institute, and the US Army War College.
Mr. Maalouf graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service, earning a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service in International Politics.
Mr. Maalouf grew up in Lebanon and the United States. He speaks fluent Arabic and has advanced proficiency in French.
