Prior to joining The Cohen Group, Ms. Avantika Menon was a Research Assistant at the Vivekananda International Foundation (VIF), a New Delhi-based think-tank. As a Research Assistant, Ms. Menon worked on the Indo-Pacific and published issue briefs and research articles on Supply Chain Resilience for Vaccines and Critical Emerging Technologies, Space 2.0, and the scope for deepening the Quad partnership across these domains. Ms. Menon also coordinated the quarterly-held Quad-Plus Dialogue and the monthly US and Europe Expert Group meetings coordinated by the VIF. Additionally, she has interned with the National Maritime Foundation, New Delhi. Ms. Menon has completed her MPhil in Security Studies from the Central University of Gujarat. Her dissertation was titled, The Indo-Pacific Regional Security Order: India’s Perspective. Her dissertation was an attempt towards understanding the security order in the Indo-Pacific Region (IPR), with a central focus on India’s strategic interests and engagement with other major powers in the region. She has a post-graduate degree in Politics and International Relations and a graduate degree in Economics. A native of India, she is fluent in Hindi, English, Gujarati, and conversational Mandarin (HSK1&2).
