Before joining The Cohen Group, Linda worked for The Home Depot’s Government Relations office as the Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Government Relations. She had complete administrative responsibility for the Government Relations office and scheduled Congressional appointments, made travel arrangements, processed invoices, and was the primary contact for Home Depot’s government relations consultants. Prior to Home Depot, Linda worked for Ashland Inc. as the Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Government Relations. Her responsibilities included overseeing the administrative staff, grassroots management, IT and security liaison, and Office Manager. During her time with Ashland, Linda oversaw two complete office build outs and three office moves. Before that, Linda spent twelve years in the Human Resources office of the U.S. International Trade Commission with primary focus on processing pay increases, promotions, job recruitment, and benefits. Linda began her career as a receptionist for National Geographic Society, and is currently pursuing a degree in Psychology at the University of Maryland University College. |
